San Antonio Therapist
LGBTQ+ Affirming
Specializes in grief, trauma, anxiety, and chronic pain and illness

Life can be messy–and by messy, I mean painful and joyous and everything in between. Counseling can provide a space where you feel seen, supported, and validated through it all.

My approach is grounded in relational-cultural theory and trauma-informed counseling. I have worked with survivors of various losses and traumatic events. These experiences can result in feelings of shame and isolation. For this reason, my practice centers on healing through connection. I emphasize your safety and empowerment throughout the counseling process. I meet you where you are with warmth, non-judgment, and even a little bit of humor.

I welcome clients across the lifespan with a variety of backgrounds. I have journeyed with clients navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, and other mental health concerns. I have completed Clinical Work with the Suicide Bereaved Training and Levels 1 and 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and social justice-oriented counselor. Additionally, as a counselor with chronic pelvic pain, I have a special place in my heart for clients with this concern. Whoever you are, I would be honored to know you (including the intersecting identities that shape you) and your story.

When I am not in session, I enjoy playing tennis, roller skating, watching The Office reruns, and napping. As an introvert, I recharge by snuggling my dog, Buffy, and cats, Wednesday and Evie.
