About Me
Seeking out therapy can feel like navigating uncharted waters. I’m here to help you on this journey with compassion, patience, and respect. As your therapist, I provide a safe environment where you can feel heard and process a range of difficult emotions.
There are many reasons that may have brought you to this decision, and none of them are easy. Whatever the issue or concern, nothing is too small or unimportant—anything you choose to share holds value because it is part of you and your experience.
Areas of Focus
I work with individual adults navigating:
Life transitions
General stress
Anxiety
Depression
ADHD
Relationship difficulties
Special focus areas:
Grief
LGBTQ+ population
Older adults
Health anxiety
I understand that every client has unique needs and I tailor sessions to fit those specific needs, taking into account both concerns and culture.
My Approach
I take a person-centered approach, creating a nonjudgmental atmosphere where you are the expert on your life. I frequently incorporate elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and cognitive approaches to help you:
Accept difficult emotions
Cultivate mindfulness
Overcome distressing situations by taking meaningful action aligned with your values
I provide trauma-informed services in every modality, being mindful of past experiences and working at a pace that feels manageable. While difficult periods are a natural part of life, together we will work toward moving you into a more fulfilling place. My goal is to help you grow in resilience and self-compassion, gradually feeling stronger and more capable of living a life in true alignment.
Outside of Work
Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me catching up on my never-ending list of streaming shows and movies, going for runs at the park, exercising at the gym, listening to music, and enjoying time with friends—whether that’s game night or trying a new restaurant in the city. My favorite moments, though, are spent with my niece, and being an uncle is one of my greatest joys.
