Every person carries a story—one filled with moments of strength, uncertainty, curiosity, and growth. When emotions feel too big to handle alone or life becomes overwhelming, having a space to slow down and make sense of your experiences can be deeply healing. My approach to therapy centers on creating that space: a grounded, supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged to grow in ways that feel meaningful to you.

A Compassionate Space for Young Minds to Explore, Express, and Evolve

Supporting young people requires patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of child and adolescent development. I specialize in working with children and teens who are learning to regulate their emotions, build confidence, strengthen their sense of self, and cope with challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma.

With children, I incorporate play-based and expressive arts interventions, understanding that play is a child’s natural language. These tools help kids express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills in a developmentally appropriate way.

With teens, I blend evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based work—to help them navigate identity, manage stress, regulate emotions, and build resilience.

I believe that healing is most effective when the whole family is supported. I work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen connection, improve communication, and create supportive home environments that help children and teens thrive.

A Supportive Space for Adults to Heal, Reflect, and Grow

Alongside my work with youth, I also support adults who feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns they’re ready to shift. Many of the adults I work with navigate:

v Perfectionism, boundary setting challenges

v People-pleasing, low self-esteem

v Anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm

v Trauma-related symptoms

v Patterns associated with Borderline Personality Disorder

Together, we explore what’s getting in the way of the life you want to build, increasing understanding of your emotions and the experiences that shaped them, while developing practical tools to help you respond with greater compassion, stability, and confidence.

My Approach

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and you remain the expert on your own lived experience. My role is to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and evidence-based strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

I tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client, drawing from:

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) – Strengthening emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Building psychological flexibility and aligning life with personal values
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Understanding the connection of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
Play-Based Therapy & Expressive Arts Interventions – Supporting emotional expression through creativity and movement
Trauma-Informed Care – Creating a safe, empowering space to process past experiences

Somatic Therapy Interventions – helping clients reconnect with their bodies, release stored tension, build awareness of physiological responses, and develop grounding skills to support emotional regulation
Family Systems & Parent Support – Enhancing communication and connection within the home

Whether I’m working with a child, teen, or adult, I aim to meet each person exactly where they are, honoring their story while helping them build the strengths and skills needed for lasting growth.

What You Can Expect

My hope is that each session leaves you feeling supported, valued, and better equipped to manage the challenges in front of you. Whether we’re helping a child build emotional regulation skills, supporting a teen through a difficult transition, or helping an adult break long-standing patterns, the work we do together is meant to create lasting, meaningful change.

Your story matters. Your healing matters. And I’m honored to support you on your journey toward growth, connection, and well-being.

About Me

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy lifting weights with my husband, having Sunday night dinners with family, going on hikes in the hill country, and traveling.
