Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I deeply respect the vulnerability it requires. Life can be overwhelming, and even with our best efforts, we sometimes feel stuck or disconnected. You don’t have to navigate those challenges alone. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow—rediscovering joy, connection, and confidence along the way.
Who I Work With & My Approach
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, tailoring therapy to meet your specific needs. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, blending Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method (Levels 1 & 2), and systemic perspectives.
• For individuals, —whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, perfectionism, or navigating life transitions—I offer a collaborative and compassionate space to explore, heal, and grow. If past experiences or trauma are impacting your present, we can work together to process and create a path forward that feels grounded and hopeful.
• For couples, I integrate Gottman Method (Levels 1 & 2), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT Level 1), and Solution-Focused techniques to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional intimacy. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, or co-parenting, our work can focus on conflict management, repairing past hurts, or simply rediscovering the joy in your relationship. I also provide discernment counseling for couples unsure of whether to continue their relationship.
• For adolescents and teens, therapy focuses on emotional regulation, self-identity, peer relationships, and managing academic or family pressures. I work closely with parents and, when needed, collaborate with school counselors, teachers, or other professionals to ensure the best support for your child.
• For families, I help navigate shifting relationship dynamics, whether it’s improving communication between parents and teens, strengthening co-parenting skills, or supporting families adjusting to their children becoming adults. Relationships evolve, and sometimes, we just need guidance to navigate those transitions with understanding and respect.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, identity-affirming, and culturally responsive, ensuring every client feels truly seen and valued.
A Little About Me
Outside of therapy, I love exploring new places, enjoying live music, and unwinding with a good book. I’m also an enthusiastic karaoke singer—on or off key! At home, I spend time with my cat, Whiskey, who’s convinced he runs the household (and honestly, he might be right).
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Heights Family Counseling. I earned my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, a CACREP-accredited program.
With experience in community mental health and private practice, I specialize in adolescents, adults, couples, and families using person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play therapy, and attachment-based approaches. My training includes:
• Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2)
• Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT Level 1)
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to walk alongside you. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about giving yourself space and support to grow, heal, and create a fulfilling life.
