A Space for Healing, Growth & Authenticity

We live in a challenging and often complicated world, and it’s important to remember that we do not have to navigate life’s hardships alone. Therapy is a meaningful commitment, but it can also become a space where healing happens, growth unfolds, and you are able to embrace your authentic self.

As both a former educator and therapist, I have discovered the importance of building people up and helping them recognize their full potential. I believe deeply in the strength of the individual and in each person’s ability to persevere, heal, and thrive.

Every individual possesses unique talents, strengths, and abilities that may become difficult to recognize during challenging seasons of life. My role is to help you uncover those strengths and use them as part of the solution-building process. Together, we will explore what is working, identify what is not, and develop new skills that support growth and healing. Even during moments when life feels overwhelming or defeating, I believe it is important to remember that we are resilient, capable, and brave.

My Therapeutic Approach

I use an integrative and personalized therapeutic approach based on each client’s individual needs, goals, and life experiences. Because every person’s story is unique, therapy should be tailored to fit the individual.

My approach incorporates:

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Play Therapy

  • Expressive Arts Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Mindfulness techniques

I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and empowering environment where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and developing meaningful change.

ADHD Coaching & Co-Parenting Support

In addition to counseling, I specialize in:

  • ADHD Coaching

  • Co-Parenting Support

I enjoy helping clients develop practical tools for organization, emotional regulation, communication, and relationship management while building confidence in their daily lives.

Whether navigating parenting challenges, blended family dynamics, executive functioning difficulties, or major life transitions, I work alongside clients to create healthier patterns and sustainable strategies for success.

Counseling for Children & Adolescents

I have over a decade of experience working with young children and adolescents and genuinely enjoy guiding, supporting, and empowering youth.

I incorporate a variety of play therapy techniques to help children process emotions, develop coping skills, and express themselves in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. My goal is to help children and teens feel understood while building emotional resilience, confidence, and healthy communication skills.

Areas of Focus

As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), I am especially passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety-related concerns and life stressors with evidence-based tools and compassionate support.

I work with clients experiencing:

  • Anxiety & panic

  • Depression

  • Anger

  • ADHD

  • Divorce & co-parenting

  • Grief & loss

  • Life transitions

  • Relationship concerns

  • Self-esteem challenges

  • Stress & burnout

  • Addiction

  • Suicidal ideation

  • School or work-related difficulties

Through compassion, authenticity, and dedication to this work, I am deeply committed to building safe and trusting therapeutic relationships while empowering clients every step of the way.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not in session, I love spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our close family and friends. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, and swimming at the pool or beach. My family and I also love traveling and learning about different cultures. Trying new restaurants, attending food and cultural festivals, and exploring Houston’s art scene are some of our favorite activities together.
