A Safe Space for Healing & Growth

I understand it can be difficult to reach out for help when you are feeling overwhelmed, confused, or scared. I deeply appreciate and affirm the courage it takes to enter into a therapeutic setting and begin the counseling process.

I believe it is important to honor each client’s individual journey toward happiness, wholeness, and healing. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where all individuals and topics are welcome. Creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe is essential when exploring sensitive and deeply personal concerns.

I value collaboration in the therapeutic process and believe we work best as a team. Together, we can identify meaningful goals, discover effective solutions, and create greater insight into the challenges you may be facing. I am passionate about supporting individuals, children, families, and couples throughout their counseling journey and helping clients reconnect with the joys of life by identifying and strengthening their unique abilities and resilience.

Individual, Couples, & Relationship Therapy

In addition to my work in sex therapy, I work extensively with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of emotional and relational concerns.

With individuals, I support clients experiencing:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Depression

  • Trauma and life transitions

  • Identity exploration

  • Relationship stress

  • Difficulty setting boundaries or expressing needs

With couples, I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps partners:

  • Improve communication

  • Reduce conflict and reactivity

  • Rebuild trust after betrayal

  • Strengthen emotional connection and friendship

  • Create a more secure and supportive relationship

I enjoy helping couples move out of painful patterns and into deeper understanding, connection, and respect for one another.

Sex Therapy & Intimacy Support

I am specially trained in working with individuals and couples experiencing sexual concerns and intimacy-related challenges. I am a Certified Sex Therapist through the Texas Sex Therapy Institute.

Many people find it difficult to talk openly about sexual concerns, and sex therapy provides a safe, respectful space to explore these sensitive issues. Through the therapeutic process, we can work together to better understand these concerns and create meaningful solutions that support emotional and relational wellbeing.

My areas of interest, training, and experience include:

  • Infidelity and betrayal recovery

  • Low sexual desire or libido

  • Vaginismus

  • Erectile dysfunction

  • Performance anxiety

  • Out-of-control sexual behaviors

  • Couple and marital conflict

  • Identity exploration

  • Kink and alternative relationship dynamics

  • Communication difficulties

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma

  • Depression and anxiety

I enjoy working with individuals and relationships of all backgrounds and identities, including monogamous, polyamorous, kink-identified, and LGBTQIA+ clients.

If you find yourself struggling to ask for what you want and need, in life, relationships, or within yourself, therapy can help you develop deeper self-understanding, confidence, and connection so you can move toward greater fulfillment and happiness.

My Counseling Approach

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is:

  • Compassionate

  • Collaborative

  • Supportive

  • Affirming

  • Judgment-free

I believe healing happens when clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. Therapy is not about fixing who you are. It is about understanding yourself more deeply, building healthier patterns, and learning how to move through life with greater confidence, authenticity, and emotional wellbeing.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I am not in session, I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs, and my cat. I am passionate about music and love attending concerts whenever I can. I also enjoy reading, exploring bookstores, trying new restaurants, traveling, and exploring new places around Houston.
