Healing Happens in Connection—You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

Life has moments that shape us—some uplifting, some challenging, and others that leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the path ahead. Whether you’re working through a difficult experience, managing anxiety, or simply needing a safe space to process emotions, therapy provides an opportunity for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

But let’s be honest—being vulnerable isn’t always easy. That’s why my first priority as a therapist is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace.

Expertise in Working with Children, Teens, and Families

Supporting children and teens in therapy requires more than just talking—it requires connection, creativity, and a deep understanding of child development. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families, helping young clients navigate big emotions, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.

With younger clients, I incorporate play-based interventions, as play is a child’s natural way of expressing emotions, processing experiences, and building coping skills. With older children and teens, I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based approaches to help them gain insight, develop resilience, and build emotional regulation skills.

I believe parent involvement is key to long-term success, so I integrate parent coaching and a family-systems approach to support the entire household. Whether helping parents better understand their child’s behavior, strengthen communication, or create a more structured and supportive home environment, I work collaboratively to ensure that therapy extends beyond the session and into everyday life.

Supporting Adults Through Life’s Transitions

In addition to working with children and families, I also work with adults navigating life’s challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship concerns, parenting stress, or work/life balance, therapy offers a space for self-reflection, growth, and emotional well-being. Many of my adult clients seek therapy to better understand themselves, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop strategies for handling life transitions, career challenges, and personal relationships. My approach is tailored to each individual, combining evidence-based techniques with compassionate, strengths-focused support to help clients build the life they want.

My Approach

Therapy is a collaborative process, and you are always in control of your journey. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, encouragement, and evidence-based strategies to help you gain insight and make meaningful changes.

I integrate a variety of approaches based on individual needs, including:

Person-Centered Therapy – You are the expert on your own life, and I am here to guide, not direct.
Trauma-Informed Care – A compassionate, non-judgmental space for processing past experiences.
Strengths-Based Approach – Helping you recognize and build on the resilience that’s already within you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Play-Based Therapy – Using creativity, storytelling, and play to help children express themselves.
Solution-Focused Therapy – Identifying practical strategies for growth and change.
Family Systems & Parent Coaching – Supporting caregivers in strengthening family dynamics.
Wellness-Oriented Practices – Encouraging balance in mind, body, and lifestyle to support overall well-being.

I have a special passion for working with individuals navigating trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergence. My experience spans across different life stages, from children to older adults, and I strongly believe that therapy should be tailored to meet you exactly where you are.

What You Can Expect

My hope is that after our sessions, you leave feeling heard, validated, and equipped with practical coping skills that support your mental and emotional well-being. Therapy isn’t just about working through challenges—it’s about celebrating progress, gaining clarity, and embracing the strengths that make you who you are.

For children and teens, therapy can build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and provide them with tools to navigate life’s challenges in healthy, constructive ways. When families are involved in the process, the growth extends beyond therapy and into daily life.

For adults, therapy offers a place to step back, reflect, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence and ease.

Your story is unique, important, and worth telling, and I am honored to be a part of your healing journey.

A Little About Me

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, daughter, and our dog, Coco. I love staying connected with family and friends, traveling, exploring new foods around San Antonio, and embracing wellness in all aspects of life.
