Welcome
I believe therapy should be a space where you do not have to perform, shrink yourself, or have everything figured out. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and authentic environment where clients can slow down, explore their experiences honestly, and begin reconnecting with themselves in meaningful ways.
I approach counseling through a trauma-informed, existential, and person-centered lens. Together, we explore not only symptoms and coping, but also identity, purpose, relationships, values, and the deeper questions that often emerge during difficult life experiences.
Therapy for Teens & Young Adults
I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults navigating identity development, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, academic stress, family dynamics, and anxiety.
Many people today feel pressure to constantly achieve while quietly struggling underneath. I strive to help clients build emotional awareness, healthier coping skills, self-trust, and a stronger sense of personal meaning and direction.
Areas I commonly support clients with include:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Depression and emotional overwhelm
Trauma and difficult life experiences
Identity and self-esteem concerns
Relationship and friendship difficulties
Life transitions and uncertainty
Emotional regulation and coping skills
Academic or career-related stress
Therapeutic Approaches
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs, personality, and goals while integrating evidence-based and relational approaches.
Modalities I may incorporate include:
Person-Centered Therapy
Existential Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Trauma-Informed Care
Mindfulness and grounding techniques
Strengths-based interventions
Psychoeducation and emotional skill-building
As I continue growing professionally, I also have strong interests in EMDR, group work, and deeper trauma processing approaches.
About Me
Outside of counseling, I enjoy traveling, cooking, creative projects, and spending time with friends and family. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, and meaningful connection in both my personal life and therapeutic work.
My experiences working in mental health settings, student support services, research, and community-based care and research have deepened my passion for helping individuals feel seen, empowered, and supported through difficult seasons of life.
