Helping Families Find Answers Through Comprehensive Evaluations

When parents notice their child is struggling academically, socially, emotionally, or behaviorally, one of the hardest parts is not knowing why. My passion is helping children and families gain clarity through comprehensive psychological evaluations that identify each child's unique strengths, challenges, and needs.

I believe an evaluation should do more than provide a diagnosis. It should offer meaningful insight, practical recommendations, and a roadmap that helps children, teens, and families move forward with confidence. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive experience where children feel comfortable, parents feel heard, and everyone leaves with a clearer understanding of how to best support growth and success.

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations

At Heights Family Counseling, I work alongside our evaluation team to provide comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

Our evaluations can help answer questions related to:

• ADHD and executive functioning

• Autism Spectrum Disorder

• Learning differences

• Giftedness

• Emotional and behavioral concerns

• Anxiety, depression, and mood concerns

• School related challenges and accommodations

Whether a family is searching for answers for the first time or seeking greater clarity after years of questions, I believe every evaluation should provide thoughtful recommendations that help guide treatment, school planning, and future success.

My Approach

I understand that pursuing an evaluation can feel overwhelming. Parents often arrive feeling worried, uncertain, or exhausted after trying to understand their child's struggles. My goal is to make the evaluation process feel collaborative, compassionate, and supportive from beginning to end.

With more than eight years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, I bring a warm, child centered, and trauma informed approach to every evaluation. I enjoy building rapport with children, helping them feel comfortable during testing, and ensuring families feel informed throughout the entire process.

My background includes experience in:

• Psychological assessment

• Developmental and behavioral evaluation

• Autism services

• Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

• Psychosocial rehabilitation

• Trauma informed care

• Multidisciplinary collaboration

I believe every child deserves to be understood through their strengths, not just their challenges. A thoughtful evaluation can provide families with answers, direction, and hope for the future.

About Me

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping families better understand their child. There is something incredibly meaningful about providing clarity that allows parents to see their child's unique abilities while identifying supports that help them thrive.

Outside of work, I enjoy continuing to learn about child development, psychology, and evidence based assessment practices. I am passionate about lifelong learning and continually expanding my clinical knowledge to better serve children and families.
